Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has been garnering praise on social media for being respectful with co-singer Aima Baig at the HBL PSL 7 opening ceremony on Thursday.
Both Aima Baig and Atif Aslam had performed together at the National Stadium Karachi. The picture of the singers standing together was shared on social media. The picture showed Atif Aslam had extended his hand behind Aima Baig but he did not touch her. Fans are praising Atif Aslam for being respectful and gentlemen with Aima Baig. The male singer did not touch Aima Baig despite standing close to her.
Atif Aslam has always been praised for being respectful with females. He recently called off his concert after he saw boys harassing women and families. He took a stand to discipline the audiences. Back in 2017, Atif Aslam halted his concert when a woman in the front row was being harassed by a group of men. He called them out and told them to “Act like a human being.” The crowd exploded with chants of “Atif, Atif”.
Atif Aslam’s first PSL anthem
Atif Aslam and Aima Baig sang the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 anthem. The song has been produced and composed by Abdullah Siddiqui. The new PSL anthem was released next week in collaboration with an event partner. On the PSL front, Atif Aslam made his debut last year with the opening ceremony.

He was invited to perform some of the popular songs of his career in the ceremony. This year as he sang his first PSL anthem, fans are praising him. He is currently playing Hilmand in the ongoing Hum TV series, Sang-e-Mah.
Atif Aslam also made it to the list of The World 500 Most Influential Muslims issued by The Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre of Jordan in 2020. According to the list, Atif Aslam has the 19th most popular social media presence that is held by a Muslim.
