Having worked together in films like Piku and Vicky Donor, there is no doubting the fact that Juhi and Shoojit will bring another entertaining film. October will be the launching pad of a new beautiful face- Banit Sadhu. Banti belongs from a British-Indian background and has been previously featured in popular television advertisement directed by Shoojit.

She has also worked as a model in the United Kingdom. While Varun Dhawan has successfully conquered the title of the ‘chocolate boy’ of Indian cinema with his hit romantic comedies. Be it Badrinath ki Dulhania or Judwaa 2, Varun kept his viewers entertained. Will Varun’s promises to live up to the expectation in ‘October’?

It is reported that October is inspired by Hollywood Oscar-nominated movie ‘Her’. In the movie, ‘Her’ a lonely writer develops an unlikely relationship with an operating system designed to meet his every need.Related image

October looks intriguing to the core; it is a unique love story with a twist. Varun plays the role of a hotel management student, who is interning at a five-star hotel as a part of the training program. Despite this, he is not happy with his internship, among all the frustration, Varun develops a friendship with Banita.

The storyline revolves around their love story, however, as the trailer goes on the movie moves beyond their love story and builds curiosity of the viewers. Varun plays the character of Dan who is a dynamic, mischievous boy, trying to make his mark in the hospitality business. Whereas, Banti plays the character of Shiuli.

It was reported that while training for his role as an internee in a five-star hotel, Varun worked across all departments; ranging from front desk manager to a laundryman. In fact, he spent a lot of time observing the way employees worked in a hotel in Delhi.

The filmmaker Yami Gautam and Ayushmann Khurrana said, “When it comes to the genre of romance, it is always beautiful to see a fresh pairing. Something about seeing their chemistry blossom through the reels of the film, makes you feel a part of their journey from the very beginning. For ‘October’, that was one of the main reasons why I chose Banita for the lead role opposite Varun.” Let’s hope the upcoming pair works their magic on the big screen.
