Pakistani biker reaches Makkah to perform Umrah in 50 days

Pakistani biker and vlogger Abrar Hasan travels to Makkah on bike to perform Umrah. Hassan set on the journey from his hometown Nankana Sahib on Feb 9th. It took him fifty days to cross three continents to reach Makkah. He arrived in Madina on March 27th and then traveled to Makkah on his bike to perform Umrah.

In a video message shared with Arab News, Hassan said: “It was always my dream (to travel to Saudi Arabia on a motorbike) and it came true this year.

Hassan is a mechanical engineer and is associated with a German automobile company. “There are probably some feelings you can’t describe in words … So, everything has been surreal for me, and I absolutely loved every single moment of it,” said Hassan.

He has been fond of traveling and photography since childhood. Hassan said he received wam welcome from Saudi Arabia when they got to know he is traveling on bike to perform Umrah.

“When they came to know that I was traveling on a motorcycle from Pakistan to perform Umrah, they didn’t take any money from me and said, ‘you are our guest,’” he said.

His video of interacting with women selling tea in Saudi Arabia went viral on social media. The video made him famous in the country.

“Whenever I go out with my motorcycle … the support and love I am receiving right now is just incredible,” he added.

“I have visited Riyadh, Madinah, and Makkah so far, but in the next few days I am starting my travel to different cities of Saudi Arabia,” he said. “I am going to Jeddah, Abha, Al-Bahah, Jazan, and AlUla near the Jordan border.”
