Pakistani celebrities pays rich tribute to doctors, security forces

Notable actors including Humayun Saeed, Adnan Siddiqui, Momal Sheikh with her family, Resham, Fatima Effendi, Agha Ali, and others raised white flags from their balconies and rooftop to pay tribute to medical workers and doctors treating coronavirus patients.

Pakistani celebrities including Hira Mani are paying rich tribute to doctors, paramedics, police, Rangers, and Army, recognizing their services in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

The actress, who is in self-isolation along with her family after returning from the US, took to Instagram and shared a post to pay accolades to the frontliners.

She wrote, “Main they dil se salam kerti hun tamam doctors ko, paramedical staff ko, apni police ko, Rangers ko (I salute all the doctors, paramedical staff, our police and Rangers).”

The Mere Paas Tum Ho star further wrote, “Or apni awam ko jo mushkil waqt me humarey liye eik paon pay khari hai salute (I also salute the entire nation for standing united in this time of difficulty).”

Hira Mani captioned the post “Pakistan zindabad Pakistan ARMY zindabad”.

Including Hira Mani other Pakistani celebrities have also paid rich tribute to doctors, paramedic staff and other frontline security forces who are risking their lives to protect citizens.

 

Notable actors including Humayun Saeed, Adnan Siddiqui, Momal Sheikh with her family, Resham, Fatima Effendi, Agha Ali, and others raised white flags from their balconies and rooftop to pay tribute to medical workers and doctors treating coronavirus patients.

Former cricketer Wasim Akram and wife Shaniera Akram also paid rich tribute to the doctors in a video posted on their social media accounts.

 

The celebrities have urged people to stay indoors and strictly take precautions to protect themselves and people in their surroundings from getting affected by the coronavirus. They say it’s the civic responsibility of the citizens to cooperate with the government and reduce the burden on the paramedic staff and administration by protecting themselves.

Lahore Police gave the hospital staff guard of honor and presented bouquets to the hospital staff in a bid to acknowledge their services and bravery in treating coronavirus patients.

On Friday, different squads escorted by senior officials visited hospitals in Lahore to offer salutations to the doctors and paramedic staff.

Police forces across Pakistan are offering a salute to on-duty doctors and paramedic staff for their heroic efforts and bravery to fight coronavirus.
