Pakistanis troll Irfan Pathan trying to mock Pakistan after Asia Cup defeat

Irfan Pathan, on his Twitter account asked, ‘How was the Sunday’. Pakistani netizens unleashed hilarious comments on his tweet.

Pakistanis troll former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan who attempted to mock Pakistan following the defeat against Sri Lanka on Sunday in Dubai.

Irfan Pathan, on his Twitter account asked, ‘How was the Sunday’. Pakistani netizens unleashed hilarious comments on his tweet. Some gave a befitting response and said it was good as Pakistan played the final of Asia Cup 2022, unlike India, that failed to qualify.

Others said Pakistani fans showed grace in defeat; they did not humiliate their cricket team. It was a matter of pride to play the Asia Cup 2022 final under the captaincy of young skipper Babar Azam. A user said that, unlike Indian and Afghan cricket fans, they accepted defeat gracefully. They did not create Twitter spaces to humiliate the cricketers or beat the Sri Lankan fans in the stadium.

Fans reminded Pathan how Indian fans abused their players in a Twitter space session. Meanwhile, Pakistani fans are directing constructive criticism and backing the team for the next month’s T20 World Cup 2022.

Others came in with more hilarious comments and reminded Irfan Pathan that Pakistan defeated the Indian cricket team a week ago, on Sunday, and later on Afghanistan. Pakistan eliminated both India and Afghanistan from the tournament.

Last week, Irfan Pathan tweeted ‘Next Sunday’ after Pakistan had defeated India. Pathan was hopeful that India and Pakistan would be playing the final of the Asia Cup 2022. India lost two consecutive matches against Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Pakistan also defeated Afghanistan.

Chairman PCB Ramiz Raja is hopeful that the same team will win the T20 World Cup. He identified the faults in the team; and said that he would continue to support it because after a very long time, Pakistan has got a competitive team. PCB will work harder with the players for the next tournament.
