Bollywood star Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha have tied the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony held in the enchanting city of Udaipur. The couple’s union was celebrated with an extravagant event attended by influential figures from both the entertainment industry and the political arena.
Parineeti Chopra, the bride, looked stunning in a champagne-colored Manish Malhotra lehenga, while Raghav Chadha, the groom, opted for an ivory sherwani, according to Vogue India. The star-studded wedding took place on September 24 and witnessed the presence of illustrious guests, including Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ mother, Madhu Chopra, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, AAP’s Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh, and renowned actor Bhagyashree.
The wedding festivities kicked off with Parineeti’s chooda ceremony in the opulent Maharaja Suite, setting the tone for a series of breathtaking events. The celebrations included rituals like the sehrabandi, Baraat procession, and Jaimala ceremony, all conducted with opulence. Against the backdrop of a setting sun, the couple exchanged their vows in a heartwarming Pheras ceremony, using giant umbrellas and sheets to keep their wedding looks under wraps, adding an air of mystery to their special day.
Before the grand wedding day, the couple enjoyed a delightful Haldi ceremony and a warm welcome lunch.
