The leading lady of Bollywood Priyanka Chopra has been honored with yet another award in Mumbai. The gorgeous actress was honored with the Mother Teresa Memorial Award for her efforts towards the social cause.
The Harmony Foundation invited her to receive the award. At this occasion, her mother Madhu Chopra accepted the award on her behalf.
She said “I humbly accept the award on her behalf. As a mother, I am immensely proud to have a child who is so compassionate and has so much kindness in her. She exemplifies the fact the more you give, the more you get. Even as a child, she was influenced by Mother Teresa and has been supporting Prem Niwas in Bareilly.”

She is working as a UNICEF Goodwill ambassador. In the recent past, the actress has been supporting efforts to rehabilitate refugees and has stood for their rights.
Priyanka Chopra is definitely an all-rounder and this has been recently acknowledged by a leading publication of the UK, ‘Eastern Eye’. The magazine placed Priyanka Chopra at the top in the ’50 Sexiest Asian Woman’ list.
