Ready to face any Opposition plans: PM Imran Khan

During his address, PM Khan made major swipes at the Opposition. While talking about PML-N, the premier said letting Nawaz Sharif leave Pakistan was a major mistake. Moreover, PM Khan slammed PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif, saying he has a weak heart. 

Friday, Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed confidence that he is ready to face anything the Opposition is planning. He made the comments while addressing PTI’s power rally in Mandi Bahauddin.

During his address, PM Khan made major swipes at the Opposition. While talking about PML-N, the premier said letting Nawaz Sharif leave Pakistan was a major mistake. Moreover, PM Khan slammed PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif, saying he has a weak heart.

“If Shahbaz Sharif is innocent, then why is he running away from courts?” the prime minister questioned.

Turning his attention to PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, PM Khan said she claims to have tapes.

“Have you ever heard a politician blackmail (others) via tapes?” he asked.

“I have a message for the Sharif family: The captain is ready for all your plans. You will not only face defeat, but all of you will go to jail,” the prime minister vowed.

Important to note, the Opposition is gearing up for an intense political battle against the government. The Opposition plans to bring in a no-trust move against PM Khan.

Mega development projects 

In a bid to revamp Mandi Bahauddin, PM Imran Khan announced a mega Rs. 30 billion development project for the city. The people of Mandi Bahauddin actively waited for PM Khan to deliver his address.

Important to note, Mandi Bahauddin makes up the first leg of a series of public gatherings that PM Khan will address across the four provinces. According to PTI, this is a historic gathering, and the people of Mandi Bahauddin are waiting for their beloved leader.

The historic package includes Rs6 billion campus of the Punjab University of Technology at Rasul, Rs1bn project of establishment of a new district headquarters (DHQ) hospital, a 45km-long dual carriageway from Mandi Bahauddin city to the GT Road, Sara I Alamgir, worth around Rs7bn, a sub-campus of University of Gujrat (UoG) and some other projects. Moreover, PM Imran Khan will also inaugurate a two-lane Mandi Bahauddin-Sirai Alamgair road.

According to the latest details, the PTI government already completed 16 projects worth around Rs. 3 billion. Moreover, more than 59 projects are underway.
