Russian beauty queen and former Malaysian King’s son disowned

Rihanna Oksana is adamant on a public apology from the former Malaysian Sultan, who divorced her as his wife within a few months of their marriage and publicly disowned their son.

Russian beauty Queen has demanded her husband, former Malaysian King, to take a paternity test amid divorce row and asked for a public apology after he disowned their son.

Rihanna Oksana Voevodina, 26, converted to Islam and married Sultan Muhammad V, 49, when he renounced the throne in her favor last year, owing to the growing pressure on their relationship.

The Malaysian King who married Rihanna on June 7, 2018, has disowned their two-months-old son, Leon, stating he is not the father. His lawyers told a Singapore newspaper that there is ‘no objective evidence yet as to the biological father of the child’.

Rihanna’s lawyer in Moscow, Evgeny Tarlo, a former Russian senator, professed that the former king’s claims were blatant lies and ‘vulgar stupidity’.

The friends of former Miss Moscow, however, have asserted that the marriage is still valid and rejected Sultan’s accusation that someone else fathered the child. They pointed out how the father and son ‘share one face’.

Rihanna, who is now living with her child in a country house near Moscow, is demanding a public apology from the former king. Her closest friend rubbished the former Sultan’s claims and called it ‘non-sense’. She stated:

‘We are very sorry that his royal, though former, highness chose such a talkative and unprofessional lawyer. All people close to Oksana – her parents, friends, family – are waiting for a public apology from him. And if (the former king) has some suspicions, then he can always do a DNA test. Oksana, for her part, is ready for this – I can tell you as I am her closest friend.’

The Sutlan’s lawyer responded with: “He has irrevocably divorced Ms. Rihana Oxana Gorbatenko on 22 June 2019 by three talaqs as per shariah laws,” said a statement from his Singapore-based lawyer, Koh Tien Hua.

Rihanna, however, has maintained that she has not heard of any divorce statement from the former Sultan in front of her.
