Shahid Afridi set to open a restaurant in Dubai

In a video posted on his Instagram account, Afridi could be seen dressed as a chef with a knife in hand. Afridi tossed and chopped the tomato like a professional chef. His video ends with a logo of ‘Lala Darbar’.

Former star cricketer, Shahid Afridi, is set to launch his new restaurant in Dubai. Legendary cricketer shared the news with his fans and followers in a unique way.

In a video posted on his Instagram account, Afridi could be seen dressed as a chef with a knife in hand. Afridi tossed and chopped the tomato like a professional chef. His video closes on a logo of ‘Lala Darbar’.

In the caption of the video, he wrote: “One step closer to the big announcement – Revealing Soon”. He also told his fans to “get ready to give your taste buds a mouth-watering triple Tarka”

Reports are that Shahid Afridi will soon open his restaurant in Dubai. In sports, Shahid Afridi announced to end his cricketing career with his last stint with HBL PSL franchise, Quetta Gladiators. Last year, he played with Multan Sultans. Afridi had announced to play with every team of HBL PSL.

Shahid Afridi praises HBL PSL

In a statement announced before the start of the HBL PSL 7, he said he is excited to join Quetta Gladiators. Shahid Afridi said: “I am excited to join Quetta Gladiators, a side that has had a roller-coaster ride in the past few events despite winning the title in 2019. In my final HBL PSL event, it will my dream and wish to sign off with another HBL PSL trophy after tasting success with Peshawar Zalmi in 2017.”

“HBL PSL is an event that encourages and inspires a player to give his very best. I will use the same motivation to help my team and put up performances that can help us achieve our event objectives.”

He, unfortunately, tested positive for the COVID-19 just ahead of the HBL PSL 7. Hence, he missed out on matches in Karachi Leg. He is expected to play all the matches in Lahore.
