Kareena Kapoor Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Veere di Wedding’ starring Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania, has had its release date pushed back to the 1st of June.
The movie is a comedy film produced by Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor. It aims to explore the spirit of the modern day Indian woman.
Ekta Kapoor said, “This is definitely going to be a wedding to remember. We are happy to announce that Veere Di Wedding will release on the 1st June 2018.”
Ekta Kapoor further added that the film would release on the birthday of her nephew Lakkshya Kapoor’s birthday. Lakkshya is the son of actor Tusshar Kapoor.

Rhea Kapoor, ” We are hoping that Veere Di Wedding will usher in a new phase in the Hindi film industry. Nothing like this has been attempted before and we hope it’s a fun ride for the audience.”
The movie is directed by Shashank Gosh and written by Mehul Suri and Nidhi Mehra.
Sonam Kapoor took to Twitter and her Instagram to inform her fans and followers about the new release date.
She wrote: “June 1 is one big day! ‘Veere Di Wedding’ arrives on my Lakkshya’s birthday! Ab Shaadi aur birthday pe Aap sab ko nimantran hai (You all are invited to the wedding and the birthday.)”
