WATCH: Air chief Mujahid Anwar flies F-16 with CJCSC Nadeem Raza

General Raza flew in the F-16 along with Air Marshall Anwar and performed combat exercises.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) Naeem Raza on Monday visited the operational base of Pakistan Air Force (PAF). Chief of Air Staff Air Marshall Mujahid Anwar received CJCSC Raza.

As per the Inter Services Public Relations, (ISPR) CJCSC reviews the combat readiness and operational units at the base. General Raza also flew an F-16 along with the Air Chief.

General Raza flew in the F-16 along with Air Marshall Anwar in the formation and performed combat exercises. General Raza afterwards appreciated the passion and professionalism of the Pakistan Air Force.

General Raza, while addressing the occasion, asserted that effective communication and coordination between the services are essential for operational success.

Last week, the PAF demonstrated a landing exercise at the Islamabad-Lahore Motorway. Fighter jets and trainer aircraft of various Squadron participated in the exercise, said an official statement.

Pictures and images of the fighter jets landing on the carpeted road of the motorway went viral on social media.

“PAF regularly undertakes road runway operations as part of its operational preparedness plan. Air Vice-Marshal Zaffar Aslam acknowledged the close coordination and support of various civil and military departments especially the National Highway Authority, FWO, and Motorway Police, whose assistance played an instrumental role in the conduct of this exercise,” the statement added.
