142 Kashmiris martyred in 10 months by Indian Army

142 Kashmiris have died due to India's atrocities in the occupied region in last ten months. Today the Senate of Pakistan has adopted a resolution against BJP government's atrocities on Kashmir.

142 Kashmiris has been martyred during the last 10 months due to the Indian Army brutality in Indian Occupied Kashmir.

Lives of Kashmiris had been made a living hell by the Modi government since India illegally revoked the special status of occupied Kashmir on August 05, 2019. It said that the move was aimed at snatching away identity of the Kashmiris through changing the Muslim-majority status of the occupied territory.

The report revealed that Indian troops martyred 142 Kashmiris including 4 women during the period. It said that at least 1,300 people were critically injured due to the use of brute force including firing of bullets, pellets and teargas shells by Indian military, paramilitary and police personnel on peaceful demonstrators.

The report said that the troops damaged over 910 houses and molested 74 women during cordon, whereas thousands of freedom leaders and workers were arrested.

The report pointed out that India is carrying out genocide of the Kashmiri youth particularly, after August 05, last year, and destruction of houses and harassment of residents has become a norm in occupied Kashmir.

Senate adopts resolution against BJP government’s atrocities on Kashmir

Senate has adopted resolution over unabated atrocities being perpetrated by Indian troops on innocent Kashmiris in Occupied Kashmir besides calling upon international community to stop Indian forces brutalities against the people of Kashmir.

Opposition leader Senator Raja Zafar ul Haq presented resolution in Senate on Friday condemning the Indian forces atrocities in Occupied Kashmir besides calling upon international community to take notice of Indian forces barbarities and stop their repressive acts in Occupied Kashmir. People of Kashmir be given right to self-determination as per UN resolution.

Dr Babar Awan, special assistant to Prime Minister (PM) on parliamentary affairs presented perks and privileges for parliamentarians bill in the senate. Chairman Senate referred the bill to respective standing committee.

Chairman Senate directed committee should finalize its recommendations till June, 08 which should be presented within 10 days,.

According to bill the parliamentarians will be issued vouchers of the equal value of 25 business class open return air tickets instead of these return tickets. The family members of parliamentarians will also be able to use these tickets.

Chairman senate said senate session will continue for two hours daily .
