Abrar-ul-Haq should focus on singing, not politics

News Desk |

Abrar Ul Haq and Aima Baig paired up for a song called ‘Ballay Ballay’ in season 11 of Coke Studio. This song has it all; a great tempo, amazing vocals and a beat that can make anyone get up and dance. No wonder it has been marketed as the “Shaadi” song of the year.

We all know and love Abrar Ul Haq for his amazing voice. He’s iconic and is definitely one of the faces you immediately associate with Punjabi music in Pakistan. Aima Baig never fails to impress and gelled in well with Abrar whose pace and tempo is unmatchable.

The Punjabi tappay are one of Coke Studio’s constant every year and something they clearly rely on. They did the same with ‘Aaya Lariye’ and they’ve used that formula ever since.

Fans are totally over the moon seeing Aima and Abrar jam it out together. This song has the potential to make you look forward to shadi season.

The awe this song has created indicates that Abrar must focus on his singing career which seems to be never-ending due to his super hit songs released every now and then, breaking records.

In July 2018 elections, Abrar contested for a National Assembly seat from Narowal against the seasoned politician Ahsan Iqbal. People from this constituency and those close to PTI’s inner circle predicted beforehand that Abrar would not be able to unseat the PML-N’s heavyweight.
