Actress Madiha Imam ties knot with Moji Basar

She posted a series of pictures on Instagram following her wedding. She, however, deleted some of them soon. The reason is not clear as to why she deleted pictures afterward.

Pakistani actress Madiha Imam ties the knot with producer Moji Basar. The couple solemnized their marriage in Dubai.

The husband of the actress is associated with the Bollywood industry. The actress shared her wedding pictures on Instagram. She posted a series of pictures on Instagram following her wedding. She, however, deleted some of them soon. The reason is not clear as to why she deleted pictures afterward.

In her Instagram post, the actress asked her fans and followers to pray for them as they embark on their new journey. “Remember us in your prayers as we embark on this new chapter of our lives,” she wrote.

It is unclear if the actress will continue her acting career after the marriage. Several Pakistani actors and actresses have congratulated the couple on her wedding. Actresses including Mawra Hocane, Ayeza Khan, and Momal Sheikh.

The celebrities sent warm wishes to the couple. “Simple and beautiful. MashaAllah. So happy for you Madiha. Wishing you two all the happiness in the world InshaAllah,” wrote Mawra Hocane. Momal Sheikh also congratulated the newlyweds, stating, “Congratulations MashAllah.” Dr. Shaista Lodhi also wished the couple, stating, “MashAllah, many congratulations!” Ace actor Ayeza Khan penned, “Congratulations,” as well.

Madiha Imam wore a simple red dress by designer Zara Shahjahan. The 32-year-old actress was born in Karachi in 1991. She gained widespread recognition for her roles in Heer and Dhaani dramas.

Fans are, however, curious regarding the whereabouts of her husband Moji Basar. One user commented, “I don’t understand why people are using “MashAllah” when Madiha has married Moji Basar (a Christian or Hindu man) from India. I believe they met in 2017 on the set of the Bollywood film Dear Maya, where Moji was a Production Assistant. He is most probably from Arunachal Pradesh and is most probably a Christian or a Hindu.”
