Rangreza’s, latest track “Bagiya” featuring Urwa Hocane, is expected to be the biggest hit this year. A soundtrack from the upcoming movie, ‘Rangreza’, has the flair of the traditional filmy music of the subcontinent.

The movie is expected to hit the cinema screens on December 21, 2017. The movie produced by Usman Malkani and Yasir Mohiuddin and scripted by Akhtar Qayyum is the directorial venture of Amir Mohiuddin.

One of the most expensive movies to date in the Pakistani film industry, Rangreza is a musical- romantic film featuring Urwa Hocane, Bilal Ashraf, and Gohar Rasheed.

‘Bagiya’, is the fourth in line of songs released by the makers of the movie so far. The song personifies the love perspective of a woman, and in this case, of Urwa Hocane’s.

The song is featured at the moment when heroine realizes she is in love. The song is sung by Jonita Gandhi and is composed by Josh’s Qurram Hussain. All the four songs of movie have been composed by him. This is the first movie where Josh’s co-singer appeared as Music director, producer, and playback singer.

According to the Music director, “I needed to make sure the song is a happy song. But it needed to be a bit more “traditional” because that’s the type of upbringing she has had. So, the challenge was to transport me into the character and envision what type of song she would sing.”

However, all the four songs are quite dissimilar to each other. Abida and Asrar’s “Phol Khil Jayen”, from the same movie is a soulful number. But the title track has scored more for its strong vocals and tune. The other song is also romantic but from a male’s perspective when Bilal Ashraf falls in love.

However, not much has been known about the story of the movie. It’s probable that Mahira’s Verna and Urwa’s Rangreza would be in tough competition with each other at the box office.
