Jodhpur court has finally convicted Salman Khan for the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. The court has acquitted other actors including Tabu, Saif Ali Khan, Neelam and Sonali Bendre that were booked in the case. Salman Khan may face six years of imprisonment.

Salman Khan was accused of killing two blackbucks on October 2, 1998, in Kankani Village in Jodhpur during the shoots of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’. He was booked in the case under the section 52 of ‘Wildlife Protection Act’.

The trial of the case has been in the progress for the last 20 years. Judge Dev Kumar Khatri reserved the decision after the final argument on March 28th.
