‘Chin up boys’, fans support Pakistan Cricket Team after T20 World Cup final

Pakistani fans expressed their hurt at Pakistan once again losing the opportunity to win the ICC title but they supported the team for putting up a brave fight till the last ball of the match.

Pakistani cricket fans hail the performance of the Pakistan Cricket Team in the final of the T20 World Cup 2022. Pakistan played against England in the final match at Melbourne Cricket Stadium in Australia.

Pakistan batting first had set a below-par total of 138 runs for England to win the title. It was Pakistan’s exceptional bowling attack that gave England tough competition. Shaheen Shah Afridi’s sudden injury in the match shifted the momentum to England.

Pakistani fans expressed their hurt at Pakistan once again losing the opportunity to win the ICC title but they supported the team for putting up a brave fight till the last ball of the match. Fans say Pakistan fought hard and gave a tough challenge to England throughout the match.

Fans, however, urge Pakistan Cricket Team to overcome their flaws for future tournaments. Praise and appreciation poured in for former cricketers for Pakistan Cricket Team. The team got a warm welcome from Pakistani fans as they reached the hotel following the match. Fans cheered them up, welcomed them, and sang songs to uplift the dejected Pakistani players.

Imran Khan too appreciated the performance of the team in his video message. He said a few things were out of control for Pakistan including the injury of Shaheen Shah Afridi. Players fought well till the end but things just did not go their way. Khan said that he was able to watch cricket after a very long time and got to know that Pakistan has the world’s best fast-bowling attack. He said the nation prays for the success of these young cricketers in the future.

Meanwhile, fans taking a dig at the Indian cricket team said that at least Pakistan fought back, and did not lose like India against England. England defeated India by 10 wickets in the semifinal of the T20 World Cup 2022. They believe the decision could have turned in the favor of Pakistan had Shaheen Afridi bowled his remaining overs.
