Dr. Zakir Naik praised hospitality and love received in Pakistan

Renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik expresses gratitude for the love and hospitality received during his ongoing visit to Pakistan.

National Assembly (NA) Speaker, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Tuesday invited Dr. Zakir Naik to the Parliament House. In the meeting, they discussed significant issues including the challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah and the promotion of interfaith harmony.

Expressing his views during his visit to Pakistan, Dr. Zakir Naik said:  “The people of Pakistan are truly loving and welcoming.” Dr. Zakir Naik addressed a gathering in which he stressed the importance of unity among Muslim ummah. He reiterated that Islam is a complete code of life, advocating for peace, tolerance, and love.

Speaker Ayaz Sadiq also addressed the gathering in which he talked about the teachings on which the Islamic principles are based.  “The Muslim Ummah must unite and work together for collective progress,” he said. He further lauded Dr. Naik’s efforts in promoting Islam’s message of peace and love globally.

Ayaz Sadiq talked about the aim of the Government of Pakistan to ensure equal rights for all its citizens, as well as the protection of minorities.  “Pakistan is playing a proactive role at the global stage in promoting peace and religious harmony,” he added.

“My mission is to highlight the true message of Islam as a religion of peace and love,” said Dr Zakir Naik.

Dr. Zakir Naik arrived in Pakistan on Monday at the invitation of the government. During his stay, which will continue until October 28, Dr. Naik will hold public gatherings in various cities, lead Friday prayers, and is expected to meet with senior government officials. His visit will include public talks in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. Dr. Naik confirmed his tour of Pakistan through a social media post on X, where he also mentioned being accompanied by his son, Shaikh Fariq Naik.
