A video of the rapper taking shahadah is also making rounds on social media. The Birmingham-born rapper, 28, also shared the news on his Instagram account, confirming the news.
Fans and followers congratulated him and extended him best wishes. A Twitter user wrote, “May Allah SWT guide him and put it in his heart to follow the guidance. He needs peace in his soul from all the street drama that surrounds him.”
Dutchavelli, real name Stephen Fabulous Allen, started his career in 2016. He rose to prominence with ‘New Jack City. A firearm case jeopardized his career in 2018. The rapper was released on license.
In 2020, he again gained fame when he gave a series of hits including ‘Only If You Knew’. The song had amassed over 20 million views.

The sports journalist Connor Humm reported on the conversion of Partey to Islam. The picture of Thomas Partey holding the Holy Quran went viral on social media. The 28-year-old midfielder joined English side Arsenal from Atletico Madrid of Spain in 2020.

In the viral picture, he could be seen standing with a certified marriage official in London. The Imam also shared the picture and tweeted, “Praise be to God who guides whoever wills. May God Almighty make him firm on Islam.”
The image instantly went viral on social media as netizens warmly welcomed the decision of the footballer to embrace Islam. The player is however yet to make an official statement.
Interestingly, the news of Thomas Partey’s conversion to Islam comes shortly after former Dutch football and AC Milan legend Clarence Seedorf announced his conversion to Islam. He announced his conversion to Islam on his Instagram account. The Dutch player embraced Islam in Dubai, UAE.
