A prominent French model Marine El Himer has announced embracing Islam. In her Instagram post, she called it the ‘happiest day’ of her life.
Marine El Himer is a French model and a reality TV show star. Last week, she posted her pictures, dressed up in hijab, standing next to the Holy Kaabah in the Grand Mosque of Makkah.
“There are no words strong enough to express the intensity of happiness and emotions experienced at this very moment. A spiritual journey that I hope will continue to uplift and guide me, Inshaallah,” El Himer said in the social media post. She added that her decision was “a choice of soul, heart, and reason.”
El Himer says she came across Islam while she was searching for her biological father. She added that she had embraced Islam months ago but made it public now.
She is the second prominent western personality to embrace Islam. Earlier, controversial social media influencer Andrew Tate accepted Islam. His video of offering prayer in a mosque made rounds on social media.

The video of Tate offering prayer in a mosque in UAE was posted by athlete Tam Khan, a verified Facebook user, confirming the news of his conversion.
