Bollywood superstars Hrithik Roshan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan to feature together in a Yash Raj Film. The renowned Bollywood studio is gearing up to create its own spy universe, rivaling the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Following the massive success of Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan,” the studio has now unveiled another exciting project, “Tiger vs Pathaan,” featuring Salman Khan and King Khan as the titular characters.
Additionally, Ayan Mukerji, the director behind “Brahmastra,” is set to helm the sequel to the blockbuster film “War,” starring Hrithik Roshan. This upcoming film, tentatively titled “War 2,” is expected to bring together three Bollywood superstars in a highly anticipated 2025 release.
According to insider reports from India Today, the muhurat (auspicious beginning) for “War 2” has already taken place. Ayan Mukerji aims to commence shooting this month, with Hrithik Roshan returning from Italy, where he’s currently working on “Fighter.” Notably, NTR Jr is also rumored to join the shoot, along with Kiara Advani, who has been confirmed as the female lead in this action-packed thriller.
What makes “War 2” especially exciting is that it will mark the first film in Yash Raj Films’ spy universe to bring together the triumvirate of megastars – Tiger, Pathaan, and Kabir – portrayed by Hrithik Roshan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan, respectively.
On a related note, Yash Raj Films has officially announced that filmmaker Siddharth Anand will direct “Tiger vs Pathaan” as part of their ambitious spy universe project. This film will unite Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan on-screen, rekindling their collaboration for the first time since their 1995 hit, “Karan Arjun.”
“Tiger vs Pathaan” is poised to become one of the biggest productions ever in Indian cinema, with Siddharth Anand receiving full support from Yash Raj Films to craft a remarkable cinematic experience.

However, it’s worth noting that as of now, only the two leading male actors have been confirmed for the cast. Questions linger regarding whether Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif will reprise their respective roles from their original films.
A source close to Yash Raj Films disclosed to the Times of India that the involvement of these leading ladies hinges on the development of their characters in the new storyline. “It all depends on how the two heroines’ roles shape up,” the source stated. “If their roles are limited, the film may opt for just one leading lady to accompany the Khan superstars.”
