Jemima Goldsmith has officially married Dublin-born businessman Cameron O’Reilly, more than two decades after her marriage to former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan ended.
The screenwriter and producer’s wedding news was shared publicly by her sister-in-law, Jemima Jones, who is married to Jemima’s brother Ben Goldsmith. Jones took to Instagram to celebrate the couple’s special day and shared photographs from the wedding celebrations.
“Celebrating Jemima and Cameron’s wedding, with my favorite date, what a happy day!” she wrote alongside a photograph featuring herself and her husband, both dressed up for the occasion.
However, the post did not include photographs of Jemima and O’Reilly themselves, reflecting the couple’s reported preference for keeping their relationship away from the public spotlight.
Jemima Goldsmith and Cameron O’Reilly’s Relationship
News of Jemima’s relationship with Cameron O’Reilly first attracted widespread attention earlier this year.
According to a report by the Daily Mail in May, Jemima became engaged to O’Reilly after the pair had been dating for around a year. The 62-year-old businessman is a multi-millionaire financier and the son of the late Irish businessman and international rugby union player Sir Anthony O’Reilly.
Reports at the time also suggested that Jemima and Cameron had already been living together. The couple were said to divide their time between O’Reilly’s home in Switzerland and Jemima’s residence in West London.
The pair reportedly met through their shared interest in documentaries. A source quoted in reports said they initially met through work and remained friends before their relationship developed into a romance.
“They first met through work and were friends for a while before that,” the source said.
The source also described O’Reilly as a private person and said Jemima was keen to protect their privacy.
A New Chapter for Jemima
Jemima, 52, has largely kept her personal life private since her highly publicised marriage to Imran Khan.
Her relationship with the former Pakistan cricket captain and politician attracted considerable international attention when they married in 1995. Jemima, the daughter of the late British businessman Sir James Goldsmith and Lady Annabel Goldsmith, moved to Pakistan following their marriage.
The couple spent several years together in Pakistan, with Jemima becoming familiar to the Pakistani public during their marriage. Their relationship ended in 2004 after nine years of marriage.
Despite their separation, Jemima and Imran Khan have continued to share a connection through their two sons.
Jemima and Imran Khan Share Two Sons
Jemima and Imran welcomed two children during their marriage.
Their eldest son, Sulaiman, is now 29, while their younger son, Kasim, is 27.
Jemima has remained involved in her sons’ lives and has occasionally spoken publicly about her family, although she has generally avoided extensive discussion of her private relationships.
Her marriage to Cameron O’Reilly marks a new chapter in her personal life, coming 22 years after her separation from Imran Khan.
Wedding Details Remain Private
While the news of the wedding has now been confirmed through Jemima Jones’ social media post, details surrounding the ceremony remain limited.
No official photographs of Jemima and O’Reilly as bride and groom have been released through the post, and the couple have not publicly shared extensive details about their wedding.
Their decision to keep the occasion private appears consistent with their approach to their relationship, which has remained largely away from the media spotlight.
For now, the wedding announcement has offered a rare glimpse into Jemima’s personal life as she begins a new chapter with Cameron O’Reilly.
