She also applauded the brand’s keen interest in projecting the idea of women empowerment in their advertisements. In her speech, Mahira gave a strong message for all her female following. She said, “let no one define who you are. And if anyone defines who you are, then let it be you.”
Khan was also of the view that mistakes and ups and downs are a part of the life. One should not be in self-doubts after committing mistakes since we all are humans.
Her message seems to be a reaction to extreme bashing she faced after her controversial pictures with Ranbir Kapoor went viral on social media last month.
The actress, however, remained silent on harsh criticism. She seems to have finally answered all her detractors.
In spite of confronting criticism time to time, the actress is making huge strides in her career.
The actress has achieved various milestones. Earlier this year she got an immense appreciation for her debut performance alongside Shahrukh Khan in ‘Raees’.
Now her contract with the internationally top-ranked beauty brand will add further value to her career. It is a fabulous opportunity for the actress to be seen on the international level.
These days, Mahira Khan is working on Shoaib Mansoor’s upcoming project, Verna. That is expected to be released in December 2017.
The movie’s plot and the story are being kept secret by the makers but its nail-biting trailer suggests it will be a huge hit at the box office. The song “Sambhal Sambhal Kay” from the same movie was a hit soon after its release.
