Malik Riaz denies claims made in Aleem Khan’s alleged audio leak

Shortly after Aleem Khan's hard-hitting press conference, an alleged audio clip of his went viral on social media making serious accusations against business tycoon Riaz Malik.

Business tycoon and founder of Bahria Town Malik Riaz has rejected the accusations allegedly made by PTI dissident Aleem Khan in an audio clip that has been going viral ever since Aleem Khan’s explosive press conference on Monday.

During the press conference, Aleem Khan criticized PM Khan over a number of issues including corruption of PTI members. He also made serious accusations against the former First Lady which Sindh Governor Imran Ismail called “inappropriate”. While lambasting PM Khan, Aleem Khan accused Bushra Bibi’s friend Farah of accepting bribes. He also alleged that she was involved in transfers and postings of bureaucrats in Punjab.

On the other hand, a video clip of Aleem Khan went viral on social media shortly after. In the audio clip, former senior Punjab minister Aleem Khan accused Prime Minister Imran Khan of removing a former head of the country’s spy agency for exposing the corruption of his wife, Bushra Bibi.

Malik Riaz took to Twitter to reject the accusations leveled against him in the audio clip. Furthermore, he called it a “malicious attempt” to drag him into unrelated matters.

“An audio clip attributed to Mr. Aleem Khan circulating on social media regarding an alleged gold set presented to First Lady from my side is absolutely false,” Malik Riaz tweeted

“I categorically deny and detest such malicious attempts to involve me in matters not related to me in any capacity,” he further added.

In the audio clip, Aleem Khan talked about the alleged involvement of Farah Khan in corruption. Furthermore, he said that Imran Khan’s wife received jewelry as bribes from Malik Riaz.

Moreover, he claimed that PM Imran Khan removed then DG ISI Lt. Gen Asim Munir from post days after he disclosed the alleged corruption of Bushra Bibi in a meeting with the premier. Important to note, the authenticity of the clip is yet to be verified. However, it has gone viral.
