Mohib Mirza and Aamina Sheikh, the most-sought couple of Pakistan’s entertainment industry has parted ways after 14 years of marriage. Mohib confirmed the separation on Ahsan Khan’s show ‘Bol Nights’. He asserted that “Aamina and I are no longer together.”
Rumors of their breakup were making rounds on social media for quite some time but the couple refrained from commenting on the controversy. The couple married in 2005 and have a four-year-old daughter Mesiah.

Mohib shared that the two met on the sets of the show he hosted and Aamina directed. He added that he faced a hard time convincing Aamina’s father for the marriage. Both Aamina and Mohib have established names in the industry and have some major productions under their belts.

Aamina has been missing in action for quite some time now – be it fashion ramps, TV commercials or drama serials. She was last seen in the movie ‘Cake’, which was released in 2018. Mohib, on the other hand, will soon be seen in an upcoming film ‘Ishrat’.

Back in 2015, Aamina Sheikh in her interview with BBC Urdu revealed that she very thoughtfully entered motherhood, after 10 years of marriage. She added that all this while she had to bear the societal pressure of producing a baby.

“I thought very carefully to enter into motherhood. You know all the conventional talks, ‘Oh you are married now this will happen.’ ‘Oh you have a kid now so this will happen.’ I abhor this mindset and it makes me take it as a challenge. I feel that I have to prove them wrong.”

“I made this decision on the point where I felt that I have the understanding of the industry and I will have my career path where I can proceed with my family and my offspring,” she added.

The couple, however, has not shared the reason for parting ways. Neither has Aamina Sheikh confirmed the news. The fans on social media expressed bewilderment as soon as the news of their separation spread on social media.
