A disturbing video of women being beaten by men and stripped naked went viral on social media. Twitter users demanded authorities to immediately arrest the alleged culprits. However, another video has emerged on social media that has given a new twist to the incident.

After creating a storm on social media, a new CCTV video of the Faisalabad incident has appeared on social media allegedly showing the women tearing apart their clothes to protect themselves.

On Tuesday, a disturbing and horrific video of women being beaten by men and stripped naked had gone viral on social media. A group of women was allegedly caught stealing from a shop in Faisalabad. The initial report suggested that the men caught the women stealing from the shop. They beat and stripped them naked. Videos of the women crying out loud and covering themselves up with a piece of cloth circulated on social media triggering a widespread outcry from the netizens.

The country was already struck with a heart-wrenching incident in Sialkot in which a Sri Lankan manager was heinously lynched and beaten to death. The latest videos of women from Faisalabad further stoked the anger of the nation. Messages of condemnation poured in from Twitter users who demanded authorities to immediately arrest and take strict actions against the alleged culprits.

A new twist to the story

However, another video has emerged on social media that has given a new twist to the incident. A new CCTV footage shows women tearing off their clothes apart themselves to escape from the men who surrounded them. In order to escape the possible arrest, the netizen says women harmed themselves.

While a few men ran after the women to catch them, other men locked up one woman in the shop after catching her. The women then continued to fight with men.

The Twitter user sharing the video said: “Thanks to the CCTV Camera footage which prevented an Aurat March! Not all the time men do wrong. Yes, there are some sick people but we should get to the facts and then raise a concern. We should have learned something out of Minar e Pakistan incident.”

As per the reports, five men had been arrested on the charges of assaulting, stripping, and beating women by the Police.
