PML-N worker confronts Maryam Nawaz at press conference

As Maryam Nawaz tried to answer the journalist's questions, the woman continued to interrupt her and caused a ruckus as she kept complaining about the ill-treatment meted out to her.

PML-N Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz gets confronted by a PML-N worker during her press conference today.

According to the details, Maryam Nawaz was addressing the media in Bahawalpur when a woman, claiming to be a PML-N worker caused quite a disturbance as she began airing her grievances against the senior PML-N leader.

The alleged female PML-N worker named Rehana said she has been working for the PML-N for 25 years, yet she was treated poorly. The woman, who was visibly upset, complained that she was treated horribly by the PML-N leadership. She also claimed that she was slapped by the secretary of Maryam Nawaz.

As Maryam Nawaz tried to answer the journalist’s questions, the woman continued to interrupt her and caused a ruckus as she kept complaining about the ill-treatment meted out to her. She also said that she was not allowed to meet Maryam Nawaz.

The woman kept saying that PML-N did not respect its workers. Only PML-N workers fighting elections were given respect. She even accused Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah of ignoring her repeated requests of meeting PML-N’s top leadership.

“PTI respects its workers, whereas PML-N does not,” the woman also said.

Maryam Nawaz tried to calm the woman down, meanwhile Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb could be heard saying that woman was not a PML-N worker.

During her press conference, Maryam Nawaz lashed out at PTI Chairman Imran Khan, saying that he needed assistance to come into power. Maryam Nawaz said when he was in power for four years, he praised the establishment, but when he lost power, he began criticizing it.

On the economy, Maryam Nawaz said that if the incumbent government did not honor the IMF agreements negotiated by Imran Khan, then Pakistan could default. She also criticized the KP provincial government for failing to maintain security in the province.

While reacting to Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s resignation as PML-N senior Vice President, Maryam Nawaz said he is like a brother to her and she will continue to work under the guidance of her seniors.
