News Desk |

Pakistani singer Zoheb Hassan informed that Pakistan Super League (PSL) will pay tribute to Pakistan’s iconic singer Nazia Hassan on the closing ceremony.

He informed that they will be playing some hit songs of Nazia Hassan. He added that songs like ‘Disco’ and ‘Disco Deewane’ which they sang together in the ’80s will be played in the ceremony.

“I am pleased to offer our song Dosti to @thepslt20. It will feature along with Disco Deewane as a special Tribute to my (late) sister Nazia Hassan at the HBLPSL Closing Ceremony in Karachi”, tweeted Zoheb Hassan.

Earlier, Zoheb Hassan has objected to the at Aima Baig’s performance on Nazia Hassan’s song ‘Disco Deewane’ at Pakistan’s Super League opening ceremony in Dubai on February 14th, 2019.  Zoheb was quick to call out the League for using the track without his permission.

“I was shocked to see that a reputable platform like PSL used our track ‘Disco Deewane’ without our prior permission. Outright infringement of intellectual property should be condemned and I am going to take a legal stand on this one,” he wrote.
