Punjab information technology Board (PITB) has developed a job portal titled ‘Punjab Jobs Online’. The portal was created under the directions of the Punjab Government and will list all vacancies in the provincial government.
Job-seekers may apply for employment online through this portal, by signing up they can sift through 452 departments to look for a job. The jobs are listed for all districts of the province.

PITB took to Twitter to explain the processes that applicants must go through on the new portal by Punjab Government.

Punjab’s Jobs Online portal is one of the projects being undertaken by the Punjab Government as part of efforts to digitalize Pakistan within the much larger Digital Pakistan Initiative by the Prime Minister, Imran Khan.

The Federal government has as part of the initiative launched a National Job Portal, developed by the National Information and Technology Board(NITB). This should make it easier for a larger number of Pakistanis to be able to apply for jobs. Making information more available makes markets more efficient. All federal departments are required to advertise the availability of jobs on the platform.
