Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi says none of his daughters are active on social media. He reported the fake Twitter account impersonating his newly married daughter Ansha Afridi.
The account has been posting tweets and images posing as Ansha Afridi. He has asked his followers and fans to report the fake accounts running in the name of his daughters. “Announcement: this is to confirm that my daughters are not on social media and accounts impersonating them are fake and should be reported, fake account,” said Shahid Afridi in a tweet.
He was urged to tweet on Monday after several accounts popped up on social media following the Nikkah of Ansha Afridi with cricketer Shaheen Shah Afridi.
Pictures of the Nikkah ceremony the couple break the internet on Friday last week. A picture of the bride Ansha Afridi was leaked online allegedly by one of the guests present in the ceremony despite requests from the hosts to attend the event unplugged.

The image of Ansha Afridi immediately went viral on social media. Later taking to social media, Shaheen Shah Afridi voiced his disappointment for breaching their privacy.
“Alhumdulillah, the Almighty has been very kind and generous. May we always remain as a garment to each other? Thank you everyone for the good wishes and for making our special day even better. Remember us in your special prayers,” said Afridi.

“It’s very disappointing that despite many and repeated requests, our privacy was hurt and people kept on sharing it further without any guilt. I would like to humbly request everyone again to kindly coordinate with us and not try to spoil our memorable big day,” said Shaheen Shah.
The Nikkah ceremony was a star-studded event attended by skipper Babar Azam, Shadab Khan, Naseem Shah, Fakhar Zaman, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Muhammad Hafeez, and other notable dignitaries.
