Son of COAS Qamar Bajwa blessed with twin babies

Son of Pakistan’s Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has been blessed with twin babies. COAS Bajwa is a grandfather to twin babies. His son, Saad Siddique Bajwa is in Dubai. The reports of the birth of twin babies emerged on Wednesday.

Saad Bajwa tied the knot with the daughter of Lahore-based businessman Sabir Hameed in 2018. The nikkah of the couple was solemnized by religious scholar Allama Saqib Raza Mustafai.

Also, Chief of Army Staff General (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday received the “Order of the Union” award – UAE’s highest civil award – at a ceremony held in Abu Dhabi.

According to the ISPR, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed conferred the medal upon COAS for making significant contributions to furthering bilateral ties between the countries.

Interestingly, the rare honor has been bestowed to King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia, President Xi Jinping of China, former US President George Bush, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and other prominent GCC and international figures.

Furthermore, the two leaders discussed a variety of recent regional and global issues and matters of mutual concern. They agreed that Pakistan and UAE share a great history of cordial relations and a deep-rooted spirit of brotherhood which is transforming into an enduring partnership.

In June, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman awarded army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa with King Abdulaziz Medal for making “significant contributions in defense cooperation” between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

A few days back, COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the United Kingdom. He attended the passing out parade of the Royal Military Academy (RMA), Sandhurst as a chief guest.

To clarify, the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst is one of several military academies in the UK and is the British Army’s initial officer training center. RMA parade will be held on 12th August for Sovereign’s Parade for Commissioning Course 213 as they complete 44 weeks of training.
