Video of Shaheen Shah praying in Masjid-e-Nabvi goes viral

He has been suffering from a knee injury since last year and was out of action for several months. Afridi aggravated his injury after playing in the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia a few months back.

A video of Shaheen Shah Afridi offering prayer in Masjid-e-Nabwi has gone viral on social media. The star cricketer was recently in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.

The cricketer had shared his picture of wearing Ahram- white sheets worn by men to perform Umrah. Pictures and videos of him praying inside and in the courtyard of Masjid-e-Nabvi are circulating on social media.

Shaheen Shah Afridi has returned home after performing Umrah. He headed to perform Umrah after completing his rehabilitation from his knee injury. He has been suffering from a knee injury since last year and was out of action for several months. Afridi aggravated his injury after playing in the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia a few months back. He was unable to complete his over. Following the T20 World Cup, he again went back to complete his rehabilitation and even missed ODI and Test series against New Zealand.

He has also skipped playing Bangladesh Premier League. Shaheen Shah Afridi will be in action in Pakistan Super League 8.

In November, he had appendix surgery. The cricketer shared his picture from the hospital on his Twitter account.

“Had an appendectomy today but Alhumdulillah feeling better. Remember me in your prayers,” said Shaheen in his tweet. The pacer is on a four-week rest following the surgery. He will not be a part of the upcoming Test series against England in December and New Zealand in January. Shaheen, after recovering from his surgery, will also complete his knee rehabilitation. Earlier, he was expected to miss the upcoming Pakistan Super League edition.

Shaheen Afridi is also set to tie the knot with the second daughter of Shahid Afridi in February. He would be the latest Pakistani cricketer to tie the knot. Earlier, Haris Rauf, Shan Masood, and Shadab Khan tied the knot.
