Social media users said the singer seems to be under the effect of the substance or allegedly drunk. He passed incoherent sentences as he struggled to speak. The singer did not stand firm and seemed to lose his balance.

Several netizens said he seemed drunk in the video. The singer, however, is receiving flak on social media. They call it ‘disappointing’. Others said that people should not comment on whether he drinks or not because that’s his matter. Instead, they should judge him on his skills and talent. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is the nephew of the legendary singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.

Back in 2019, Pakistan’s famous singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has become the first Asian singer to have received Wembley Arena Award. According to details, the singer was honored with the award during his concert in the United Kingdom. The concert was attended by people belonging to different countries including Pakistan and India.

The prestigious Oxford University awarded Asia’s leading Sufi singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan with an honorary doctorate in a ceremony held at Oxford in June this year.

The University of Oxford announced in March that Asia’s acclaimed Sufi singer RFAK has been shortlisted, along with eight other dignitaries, for an honorary doctorate.

According to media reports, the university had described Rahat Fateh Ali Khan as a “Pakistani singer, primarily of Qawwali, a devotional music of the Muslim Sufis.”
