Waseem, Shaniera rumored to make screen debut with Fawad Khan

The anticipations soar high as Pakistan’s most celebrated couple Waseem Akram and Shaniera Akram are set to make cinema debut.

Fawad Khan and former cricketer Wasim Akram are likely to share the screen in Faysal Qureshi’s upcoming directorial debut ‘Money Back Guarantee’. Fawad is already appearing in the much-anticipated movie ‘The Legends of Maula Jutt’.

The last time Faysal appeared on the big screen was in ‘Teefa In Trouble’ featuring Ali Zafar and Maya Ali. Nevertheless, this film will be his directorial debut, for which the comedian has brought some entertainment bigwigs onboard.

Several media outlets have confirmed that the film will hit the floor in November, the shoots will continue for three months. Former cricketer Wasim Akram and his activist wife Shaniera Akram will also reportedly make their acting debut with the film.

The named celebrities, however, have not made any officials announcements yet. But the reports claim the makers are planning to rope in Mahira Khan for a cameo while Gohar Rasheed is anticipated to be a part of the movie as well.

Given the cast and list of celebrities involved so far, there is no doubt that Money Back Guarantee might be the most awaited film of 2020.

Shaniera Akram is an active social worker and recently walked the ramp at Fashion Pakistan Week. It would be a treat to watch Shaniera Akram making her on-screen debut.

Shaniera Akram is the most celebrated and cherished personality in Pakistan, known for her active Twitter presence. She is a philanthropic, proactive social worker who often mingles up with children at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital.

To her credit lies the raising the issue of hazardous biomedical waste scattered on the Sea View in Karachi. She is among the vocal celebrities who have repeatedly raised voice over the deteriorating situation of sanitation and cleanliness across the country.

She proudly wears her Pakistani identity and often participates in rebutting Indian trolls on social media.
