WATCH: Celebrities, sports stars spotted at restaurant of Shoaib Malik

Malik had invited a score of celebrities and sports stars at the opening ceremony. Popular singer Atif Aslam, skipper Babar Azam, former cricketer Wahab Riaz, former coach Waqar Younis, Hasan Ali, and others were spotted.

A score of celebrities and cricketers were spotted at the launch of the new restaurant of a former cricketer, Shoaib Malik, in Lahore.

Malik had invited a score of celebrities and sports stars at the opening ceremony. Popular singer Atif Aslam, skipper Babar Azam, former cricketer Wahab Riaz, former coach Waqar Younis, Hasan Ali, and others were spotted in the viral video. Kamran Akmal was also spotted at the meeting.

Cricketers were seen gathered at a table for complimentary food served by the restaurant. Cricketers wished success for the new venture of Shoaib Malik.

Video of Atif Aslam hugging and meeting Babar Azam has been circulating on social media. According to media reports, Shoaib Malik has opened a new restaurant named, ‘Rice Bowl’ in Lahore.

Shoaib Malik also shared his picture with Atif Aslam on Twitter. In the caption, he wrote: “What a lovely surprise it was @itsaadee to see you pop out of the blue at the launch of #RiceBowl earlier today… Sir tussi great ho, love you.”

Shoaib Malik’s cricket career

Shoaib Malik retired from cricket with the conclusion of the recent ICC T20 International World Cup. He was initially not part of the T20 squad but was included after the injury of Sohaib Maqsood. Malik with his impressive performance in the World Cup had won the hearts of his fans once again at home.

“I was playing the Caribbean Premier League when the initial squad was announced and when my name was not there, it hurt but I had a way to get my frustration out as I was playing.

“Then I came back to Pakistan and did well in the National Twenty20 and luckily got selected, so I am happy that I am here and enjoying my time.”
