The little kids were extremely elated after meeting Shaheen Shah Afridi. One of them even did the cricketer's signature celebratory style. Shaheen had a stellar 2021 across all formats. He took 47 wickets in nine tests, backed with eight wickets in six ODIs and 23 wickets in 21 T20Is.

A video of Pakistani cricketer Shaheen Shah Afridi meeting his little fans has been garnering attention on social media.

In the latest viral video, Afridi met two little fans. A boy named Muhammad Saleh met Shaheen Shah Afridi. The young kid even kissed the hand of Afridi. Little kids were extremely elated after meeting him. Saleh also did a signature celebratory style of Shaheen Shah Afridi as he met him.

However, regarding his celebratory style, Shoaib Akhtar had asked him to stop blowing flying kisses. Former cricketer, Shoaib Akhtar had advised bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi to stop passing flying kisses after taking wickets and concentrate more on his game.

It was in a rage, perhaps, Shoaib Akhtar slammed Shaheen Shah Afridi to avoid making over-excited gestures while celebrating his wickets. He implied that it was certainly not an achievement to celebrate after taking just one wicket.

“Shaheen Afridi likes blowing flying kisses more than taking wickets. At least take five wickets or run through a batting lineup before these hugs and flying kisses. What’s the point of doing it after just one wicket,” Akhtar remarked.

The cricketer, however, turned out to be a star performer in the recent India-Pakistan T20I World Cup match. Left-arm fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi set up victory with figures of 3-31 that restricted India to 151-7 despite a valiant 57 from captain Virat Kohli.

In the field, Shaheen Shah Afridi has been named the captain of the PSL franchise, Lahore Qalandars. Interestingly, Shaheen Shah Afridi has been nominated in the five categories of PCB Awards 2021.
