Pakistani top-test cricketer, Yasir Shah, has been named in the rape case of a 14-year-old minor girl. The complainant’s aunt named Yasir Shah in the FIR registered at Shalimar Police Station in Islamabad on December 19th, 2021.
The aunt of the girl said that she has known Yasir Shah for quite some time. She took her niece with her to attend a party at the house of Yasir Shah in Lahore. The woman said that two to three months after returning from the party she seemed “unwell and disturbed”. Upon insistence, the girl said that Yasir’s friend Farhan took her number and later on proposed to her. He used to get Yasir to talk to her.

“On August 14, when she was returning from tuitions, Farhan made her get into a taxi and took her to a flat in F-11 where he raped her at gunpoint and even made a video,” the aunt said, as the police recorded this in the FIR.

The girl was raped twice
Farhan threatened the girl that if she told someone about the incident, he would make her video go viral and would also kill her, the FIR states. The accused involved Yasir Shah to threaten her if she got the complaint registered. Otherwise, he would get her involved in a fake case since he has contacts.
A month later, Farhan contacted her and forced her into meeting him, and raped her a second time. This time Farhan coerced her to get into a relationship with Yasir and made her talk to him over the phone, stated the FIR.
The woman then contacted Yasir Shah on Whatsapp when she got to know about this. At that time, Yasir Shah was in West Indies. Aunt told the Police that Yasir Shah made fun of the incident and said that he likes underage girls. He offered the woman to get the child married to his friend and that this would benefit him and his friend. Yasir Shah even threatened to kill her, when the woman said that she will go to the police.
Yasir Shah will bear the expenses of the girl till she turns 18, and that he will transfer the ownership of the flat in her name if she agrees to marry her niece to his friend.

The woman said she met Farhan two days ago upon the Yasir Shah’s request but Farhan threatened her. Yasir Shah was coming to meet her on December 22nd. The cricketer asked the woman to bring her niece as well.
