Netizens are expressing concern and solidarity with the actress. They are demanding police take strict action against her husband.

“She is an influential, well-known, and relatively powerful woman in society. She married for the second time; her first husband was also abusive, and now her second husband is too. When will we finally speak up against #DomesticViolence? Marriage is considered a guarantee of safety for women, but Nargis has tried for this guarantee twice. If this is the situation for prominent women, what must life be like for women confined within their homes?,” said a user on X.
