Hamza Ali Abbasi is a real feminist. He recently remarked that women bodies should not be used to sell the movies. Instead, director and filmmakers should capitalize on their acting skills.

Male actors in the industry are praised and judged for their acting skills. The same aspect of judgments should be applied for female actresses working in the industry.

The actor turned anchor & political analyst also hit out on the makers of “Na Maloom Afraad 2”. He said the film would have been equally successful even without an item number.

“Capitalising women on their sexuality to get a few eyeballs is pathetic. Women’s bodies can’t be used to sell films; you need to use their talent and capability. You’re not damaging me, you’re damaging women. I’m sure Na Maloom Afraad-2 would’ve done as well without an item number.”

The actor already enjoys extreme popularity among his female fan following. Such remarks will further broaden his popularity among his followers.

Hamza Ali Abbasi has been frequently spilling out his views regarding “item numbers” featuring women in a seductive manner.

He also defended Mahira during her recent smoking and wearing a short white dress controversy.
