The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday announced a general election for January, almost three months later than scheduled, removing political uncertainty over the timing to help salvage a falling economy.
The law offers dozens of amendments to Tehran’s religious dress code, which has been in force for both men and women since the country’s 1979 revolution, with more than 70 articles defining rules and penalties for rule-breakers.
Currently, this service is available to pilgrims departing from Islamabad, but during his visit, Minister Aneeq Ahmed will explore the possibility of extending this convenience to pilgrims from Lahore and Karachi as well.
