The Chinese company Changan has reportedly imported one unit of Changan UNI-K for road trial in Pakistan.
Pakistan’s leading car blog Pakwheels reported that according to the import data of PAKISTAN EXIM TRADE INFO, a CBU unit of Changan UNI-K SUV arrived in Pakistan on the 16th of July.Â
It must be mentioned that the company has previously tested and conducted trials for Changan UNI-T and Changan Oshan X7.Â
Let’s look into UNI-K SUV.
EngineÂ
Changan UNI-K SUV comes with a 2000cc turbocharged engine capable of generating 230hp and 360N Torque. If we talk about the transmission, the modern SUV comes with an 8-speed transmission system.
Exterior
The car measures 4,865 mm (191.5 in) long, 1,948 mm (76.7 in) wide, and 1,700 mm (66.9 in) tall, is slightly shorter, narrower, and taller than the Cayenne Coupe.
Another unique thing about the exterior is its grille and the brake light. Various blogs have commented that from the first look of the car, it looks like a very modernistic electric car.
On the rear side, the car features back lamps, double exhausts, a skid plate, a spoiler, and fog lamps. The midsize SUV runs on 21-inch alloy rims.
Interior
As for the interior, the three connected LCDs are able to show information about tire pressure, navigation, speed, multimedia, gear and etc. Besides, the 12.3-inch console-mounted display adopts Corning Gorilla cold-bent glass with anti-reflective and anti-scratch coating and supports gesture control and OTA (over-the-air) upgrade, Gasgoo wrote.
Other features include keyless entry, automatic air conditioning, panoramic sunroof. Â
Safety
The Changan UNI-T SUV comes fitted with 8 airbags for Driver/Passenger, Front/Side Rear Side, and Front/Rear Curtains. Other safety features include ABS + EBD, Traction Control, Hill Start Assist, Brake Assist, Hill Descent Control, Blind Spot Assist, and Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and Automatic Parking to name a few.
Price
In the international market, the UNI K is priced at $27000, making it around Rs4.7 million in Pakistan, however, no price has yet been revealed.
