What is the 100 women Campaign?

The women selected in the list are asked to take up challenges each year and devise innovative solutions to problems being faced by women.

In the fifth annual series, women are encouraged to discuss issues relating to women empowerment and to bring a subsequent change in their respective societies.

Divided into four groups, this year these women are challenged to tackle four of the biggest problems faced by women of today: glass ceiling, female illiteracy, harassment in public spaces and sexism in sports.

Utilizing their own experiences, women will come up with the real-life solutions. The campaign is yet to begin. So far only 60 women have been named while remaining 40 women will be added during the season starting this October.
