Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has been appointed as the Global Brand Ambassador for Qatar Airways. Padukone shared the announcement on her Instagram account.
“Thrilled to be announced global brand ambassador for @qatarairways! Because there’s nothing else quite like it…,” the actress captioned the Instagram post.
She shared the video of her having a lobster tail and surfing through the onboard entertainment system on a Qatar Airways flight. Interestingly, she is also the House Ambassador for Louis Vuitton and the face of Levi’s.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said in his official statement said that they are “truly delighted to have Deepika on board Qatar Airways as our Global Brand Ambassador.”
He further added, “At Qatar Airways, we constantly strive for excellence. This collaboration brings together refinement and grace, and Deepika showcases beautifully how Qatar Airways offers award-winning premium experiences both in the sky and on the ground to its customers. Deepika is an obvious choice as she has the right global appeal and charisma for our brand.”

Qatar Airways is currently reaching 150 destinations operating from Hamad International Airport, declared the Best Airport in the World” by Skytrax World Airport Awards 2022.
The success of her recent film Pathaan has increased the value of Deepika Padukone globally. Last year, she was invited to unveil the trophy at the final of the FIFA World Cup 2022 held in Qatar.
