DG ISPR dismisses Indian news of Pak Army’s additional LoC deployment, airbase use by China

In another development, Pakistan Army also "vehemently" denied the presence of Chinese forces in the country after unsubstantiated reports circulated in Indian media claiming the presence of Beijing's combat aircraft at a forward Pakistani airbase.

Pakistan army spokesperson Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar has rebutted false propaganda blitz unleashed by Indian media regarding the additional deployment of Pakistan army troops alongside the Line of Control (LoC) between Pakistan and India in Gilgit-Baltistan and alleged use of Skardu Airbase by China.

DG ISPR rejected such false reporting from the Indian media as baseless and unsubstantiated.

In a tweet on Thursday, he termed the news circulating on Indian media and social media in this regard as false, irresponsible and far from truth.

The DG ISPR said no such movement or induction of additional forces have taken place.

The DG ISPR in a tweet said, “News circulating in Indian electronic and social media claiming additional deployment of Pakistan Army troops along #LOC in GB and alleged use of Skardu Airbase by #China is false, irresponsible and far from truth.”

Chinese troops in Pakistan?

In another development, Pakistan Army also “vehemently” denied the presence of Chinese forces in the country after unsubstantiated reports circulated in Indian media claiming the presence of Beijing’s combat aircraft at a forward Pakistani airbase.

Indian media claimed that after the recent Sino-India clash in the Galwan Valley area of Ladakh – part of the disputed Jammu and Kashmir region – the additional deployment of army troops has been made along the Line of Control (LoC) and China has deployed combat aircraft at Gilgit-Baltistan’s Skardu Air Base.

According to media reports, India media is pack of lies and it is acting as stooge of Indian establishment. Those who have enacted drama of killing the people by storming in home have been thrashed in homes. They have started maligning the neighbouring countries to avert defamation. Indian media has started dreaming nightmarish dreams of Pakistan and India as China has made nights of India sleepless nights.
