The final teaser of upcoming Hum TV drama serial Ehd-e-Wafa offered a few glimpses of Captain Faraz from acclaimed ISPR sponsored series Alpha Bravo Charlie. Captain Faraz is roped back in the upcoming Ehd-e-Wafa slated to start from Sunday.

The charming and sober Captain Faraz from Alpha Bravo Charlie is likely to play the father of Ahad Raza Mir in the serial. Fans were already excited for upcoming Ehd-e-Wafa, the glimpse of Faraz in the teaser was an additional treat for them. Delighted fans, however, wished to have again Captain Gul Sher, Captain Kashif, and Shahnaz back in the serial. The latest teaser shows Captain Faraz berating Ahad Raza Mir for violating the rules and discipline of the military academy.
Osman Khalid Butt, Ahad Raza Mir, Ahmed Ali Akbar, and Wahaj Ali will reprise the role of Army cadets in Ehd-e-Wafa. Ehd-e-Wafa‘, helmed by Saife Hassan, is an army-based drama serial, and rendition of the 90’s popular drama series ‘Alpha Bravo Charlie’ and ‘Sunehray Din’.

A few days ago, a picture of the four actors was posted on the Instagram account of Osman Khalid But outside the SSG camp, which hinted for an upcoming series on the Pakistan Armed Forces. Ehd-e-Wafa is a story about “true friends on their journey of hardships and hustle, willing to sacrifice for their country” according to the official bio. The drama also features Zara Noor Abbas, Alizeh Shah as Ahad Raza Mir’s romantic interest and Hajra Yamin, among others.

The teasers of the drama series are out and show four friends having the time of their lives as college students. A group of four boisterous boys is seen breaking the rules of their college and punished for mischievous acts. The drama seems to be a mixture of comedy with a serious story of friendship and loyalty.
There had always been a penchant for military-based serials and movies among the public with Alpha Bravo Charlie, a directorial venture of Shoaib Mansoor, setting the highest benchmark. Sunehray Din, a precap of ABC, was the first in the line of military-based serials.
The team of Ehd-e-Wafa recently met DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor for the promotion of their serial. A picture of the team including Ahad Raza Mir, Zara Abbas, Osman Khalid Butt, Wahaj Ali, and Ahmed Ali Akbar along with Saife Hasaan with DG ISPR circulated on social media.
