Engin Altan Duzyatan, who plays Ertugrul Bey in television show Dirilis Ertugrul, is expected to visit Pakistan in October. He will be touring Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad from 9th to 11th October.
According to the organizers, Altan would meet his fans in these three cities. “Engin Altan Duzyatan has finally confirmed his much-awaited visit to Pakistan,” said the event organizers on Saturday.

Ayesha Syed, an organizer, said, “the tour will reinforce traditional bonds between Turkey and Pakistan and usher in new partnerships between the content creators of the two countries.”
During his tour, Engin will hold a question-and-answer session with the fans, the organizer said. Frontiers World – a London-based event management company in collaboration with the Turkish state broadcaster – TRT, Youth Empowerment Society, and Skillers are organizing the event titled Jashn-e- Ertugrul in three major cities of Pakistan.
In another move, a Turkish actor is expected to travel to Pakistan for the inauguration of Istanbul’s blue mosque replica, at the local housing project, Blue World City, in Lahore.

Blue World City from Lahore, Pakistan had hired Engin Altan Duzyatan (who played Ertugrul in the Dirilis Ertugrul) as its brand ambassador. The housing project made the announcement last week.
Earlier, a Pakistani publication had reported that the Ertugrul actor would be traveling to Lahore after signing a contract with the brand. This would be the first formal contract of Engin Altan Duzyatan with any Pakistani company.

Last week, a video of Engin Altan also circulated on social media in which he greeted his fans and informed that he would soon be coming to Pakistan. In the video he said, he is very excited to become the brand ambassador of Blue World City. The actor added that he considers Blue World City as his new home.

Engin Altan met three Pakistani children
However, this would not be the Engin Altan’s first interaction with Pakistanis. Resurrection Ertugrul star Engin Altan Duzyatan has already met three Pakistani terminally ill children through a video link organized by the non-profit organization, Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The teenage children are fans of Engin Altan Duzyatan and had expressed wish to meet him. The Turkish star, however, could not come to Pakistan to meet children but interacted with them via video link.

Besides interacting with the children, he also chatted with Pakistani actors Ayesha Omar and Humayun Saeed. Earlier, Turkish actor Engin Altan Duzyatan aka Ertugrul visited the Embassy of Pakistan in Turkey to convey his greetings on the 74th Independence Day of Pakistan.
He extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Pakistan on Independence Day in a video message. Duzyatan wished his Pakistani fans in the Urdu language. He said, “Tamam Ehl-e-Pakistan Ko Jashn-e-Azadi Mubarak” (A very happy independence to all the people of Pakistan).
