Pakistani actor, Feroze Khan, seems to be inspired by 12th-century Sufi scholar, Ibn Arabi. The actor recently shared a quote of the famous Sufi scholar on his Instagram account.
The shared quote read: “Loneliness is an essential friend on the road to bravery.” Popular Turkish series, Dirilis Ertugrul, piqued the interest of the global audience in the life and teachings of Arabi after Turkish actor, Osman Soykut, played the Sufi scholar in the series.
Khan has gained media attention in the past few days after making a comeback in the entertainment industry. A few months ago the actor had announced to quit the showbiz industry on religious grounds.
A few days back the actor revealed that he is set to return to the entertainment industry.
“My Sheikh ordered me not to quit showbiz.” Elaborating further, he explained how his mentor believed the industry was a medium to spread the ‘paighaam’ of religion.
“He also told me that I needed to be at this place. I have to make something out of this. So I’m reading into a lot of scripts, looking into a lot of scripts — I may act, I may produce, but I’m here,” said Khan in an interview with Something Haute.
He also denied the rumors of dating Hania Amir amid his alleged split with wife Alizey Fatima with whom he has a son.
Khan said, “I won’t comment on what happened with Asim because that’s not my place to say or speak,” he remarked. “But what I read about Haniya and I, was disturbing,” he complained. “We also have parents […] we too have emotions.”
“The most upsetting bit was; it would have taken me 30 seconds to post a screenshot of our chat from that day. But I was watching such senior journalists – for Rs2 publicity – talking rubbish about ‘evidence’ of what happens on sets,” said the actor.
The actor said, he received a text from Hania Amir who asked him why she is being dragged into their personal life.
Nevertheless, after appearing in Ishqiya, Khan, will be appearing with Iqra Aziz in a much-anticipated, TV serial, Khuda aur Muhabbat.
