Hamza Ali Abbasi compliments Hafiz Saeed in Tweeting tornado

News Desk |

On January 1st 2018, the government disclosed that they were planning to take over the charities that are owned by Hafiz Saeed. This decision was reviewed and discussed in December and the Financial Action Task Force has been assigned the perilous task of seizing assets belonging to Hafiz Saeed, the leader of the Jamaat-ud Dawa.

Washington has officially declared Hafiz Saeed a terrorist and a militant and has urged Pakistan to stop all channels through which terrorism is financed in the country otherwise the country risks facing serious repercussions on the international front.

Hamza Ali Abbasi has always taken a radical stance on issues that are controversial in nature, this time he seems to have managed to outrage people in Pakistan as well.

Hamza Ali Abbasi’s claims of Hafiz Saeed’s peaceful nature and him being a very nice human being completely contradicts the narrative formed by America and India. Both nations accuse Hafiz Saeed of orchestrating the November 2008 Mumbai attacks that killed over 160 people and wounded over 300.

No links between the attack and Hafiz Saeed have ever been proven and the United States has even gone as far as putting a reward on his head looking for evidence to link him to the attack. They have failed to prove anything.

While he has garnered nothing but negative attention from the mainstream western and Indian media, Hamza Ali Abbasi seems to have grown quite fond of his demeanor and mannerisms. Hamza Ali Abbasi has stuck to his usual route of civil disobedience and armed his twitter with sugar coated statements about the man everyone outside of Pakistan considers a terrorist.

Although Hamza Ali Abbasi has always taken a radical stance on issues that are controversial in nature, this time he seems to have managed to outrage people in Pakistan as well. Many people in Pakistan also disagree with Hafiz Saeed’s actions and think Hamza Ali Abbasi’s second tweet in the last few months praising the alleged militant leader are out of order and reflect a poor image of Pakistan.Â
