Imran Khan to hold live session on Twitter today

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan and PTI Chairman will speak at a Twitter Space session today. PTI is launching an intense campaign to galvanize public support for early elections in Pakistan.

According to details, PTI’s social media team members Dr. Arslan Khan and Jibran Ilyas will host the session at 10 pm in Pakistan. The timings of other countries are Canada and USA 1 pm, Saudi Arabia 8 pm, the UK 6 pm, and UAE 9 pm.

“PTI Social Media Team is proud to host Chairman Imran Khan on a Twitter Space Session tomorrow at 10 pm. It will be hosted by Dr. Arslan Khalid and Jibran Ilyas,” PTI’s official Twitter account shared. PTI also asked people to post their queries using hashtags so that Imran Khan can answer their questions.

Pertinent to mention, PTI is well-known for mobilizing the public through strong social media campaigns. For instance, PTI’s Twitter trend against the incumbent government called “Imported Hakumat Na-Manzoor” has been tweeted over 7 million times, making it the biggest trend in Pakistan’s social media history.

Furthermore, Twitter Space is where live audio conversations happen. Conversations on Twitter Space allow open, authentic, and unfiltered discussions. Therefore, there are expectations that Imran Khan’s Twitter Space session will also break records as a maximum number of listeners will join to hear him speak.

Public stands with Imran Khan

Following his ouster as the prime minister, Imran Khan makes a strong comeback in politics as he holds public rallies across the country. His rallies in Peshawar, and later in Karachi, faced huge success as thousands came out to support him.

Images and videos from the rally went viral on social media. To clarify, the impressive rallies were a testament to Imran Khan’s power in pulling the public.

Moreover, PTI activists in other countries too held protests against the PML-N government. Waving large flags of Pakistan and PTI, protestors marched the streets of capitals like Berlin, Ottawa, Washington, and London. They also chanted slogans like “imported Hakumat Na-Manzoor”.

Reacting to the protests, Imran Khan thanked the Overseas Pakistanis for their support. In a tweet, the former prime minister said: “Thank you to all Pakistanis for their amazing outpouring of support & emotions to protest against US-backed regime change abetted by local Mir Jafars to bring into power a coterie of pliable crooks all out on bail. Shows Pakistanis at home & abroad have emphatically rejected this”.
